Our history began in 1950 when, as a Colombian company, we set out to produce high quality warp and knitted textiles. Since then, we have evolved not only as manufacturers of exceptional fabrics, but also as agents of environmental and social change in the textile sector.
Then in 2003, La Tienda de las Telas was born, one of the marketing channels of Protela, where we currently have 10 physical stores nationwide, then in the same year, Protela acquires Antonella S.A. today known as PROINTIMO S.A.S., to offer our customers a complete package service of high quality.
In this time we have perfected an integrated process from design creation to knitting, dyeing, printing and finishing, each step a manifestation of our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Today, not only do we have more than 70 years of experience in the textile industry, but we have also expanded our impact beyond the borders of Colombia, our international presence is a testament to the quality of our products and the trust we have earned globally.
Our team of more than 1,000 employees are the heart of Protela, their dedication and expertise are the driving force behind every yarn we weave and every innovation we pursue.
